I remember deciding to transfer to NKU after my freshmen year of college at UK and being faced with a whole world of unknowns. One of the biggest ones was where the heck was I going to live? My parents had recently moved to South Carolina and my nearest relatives lived 500 miles away. By the grace of God, I somehow ended up owning an awesome two bedroom condo but could not afford the monthly mortgage by myself. Thus, the prayers for an awesome roommate began. The first time I met Ali was in the fall of 2010. We were doing work crew for a Young Life weekend camp in Ohio. I had never met her before but a group of 4 girls of us carpooled together.
