A Colorado kind of God
Hello fellow bloggers.
I write to you from Breckenridge, Colorado, where I am currently on a ski trip with some of my dear friends from Lexington YoungLife. You may be thinking, Cortney, what the heck!? Why are you sitting on your computer when you could be outside skiing in one of the most gorgeous places in the world!?
Well, the answer to that question is that I am so sore I can barely move. After never ever skiing before, and two complete eight hour days spent on the slopes, I'm beat.
But let me tell you, it's beautiful out there. It is like nothing I have ever seen before. God is great. These mountains are His creation, His domain. And He has presented millions of us the honor of getting to be a part of it and truly getting to experience it everyday! As I was flying down the mountains today and yesterday, I could not help but marvel at God's creation. Looking at the size and the prestige of these mountains reminded me of how freaking huge our God is! And he could move one of those mountains in the blink of an eye. He is so powerful and so good.
I have never felt more comforted that I have the Holy Spirit, who is one with our great and awesome God, inside of me.
