I love books!

As hinted at in my previous post, this is all about the good books I've been reading lately! So, this may be extremely tortuous if you do not enjoy reading like I do . But if you're ever looking for a good book to read, I have many recommendations! So as to not go on for days and days, I'll just post about the books I've read in the past 2 months or so. Through Gates of Splendor By Elisabeth Elliot So, there was this tribe of crazy, ferocious, savage indigenous people in Ecuador. Prior to the Elliot's encounter with them they were considered the fiercest and most deadly tribe of people in the entire world! Jim Elliot and 4 other men (and their wives and children) followed the Lord's leading to go there and tell them of their savior! They did and unfortunately, the 5 husbands were killed by the tribe. But the wives stayed and ministered to them and now masses of them have accepted Jesus and are saved! I cried at least 5 times while reading it. The faith and...

Long time, no post

It has been a really long time since I last posted. And in all honesty, I don't really keep up with this thing anymore. But I am going to try to get better at it! So instead of writing my lab report that I haven't started yet, I'm going to share a few things that have been going on in my life since I last left off. 1. Jesus Jesus is awesome. Over the past few weeks I've been reading through the Gospels and it's been rocking my world. The Spirit has been teaching and showing me so many things lately, but I'll just share a few. I've been really seeing what it means to love through the way Jesus lived His life. A conversation with an awesome friend led me to look into this more. The scriptures have showed me that love is not a feeling, but a choice we make. Jesus did not always want to love us.
